a good independent record company works hard on an artist’s behalf. it concentrates most of it’s time and energy on things like secure and effective investment, motion picture licensing, digital distribution, rights management, marketing, and media relations. then there’s all the legal stuff in between.

then, while composers and producers are busy perfecting their moments in music, the record label concentrates on presenting those moments to the world.
